Not the first in the world
edit"She created the first known lesbian publication in the world, Vice Versa". Vice Versa may have been the first known lesbian publication in the U.S., but it certainly was not the first in the world. In Germany a number of lesbian magazines were published during the 1920s and 30s: Die Freundin, Ledige Frauen, Frauenliebe, Frauen Liebe und Leben, Garçonne and Blätter idealer Freundschaft.
