Unfortunately, I feel that this article is not ready for GA status at the moment for the following reasons:
- Please remember that WP:LEADCITE says, in part, that "editors should balance the desire to avoid redundant citations in the lead with the desire to aid readers in locating sources for challengeable material." I think the second lead paragraph about the campus's locations and the DVM program requirements is relatively non-controversial and therefore don't need a citation. That citation could be moved to the body sections.
- I've also noticed that you have many blank parameters for the infobox's template. Do you plan to fill those in? If not, then please remove them for the convenience of other contributors. (Though I realize that this is not a GACR requirement)
- I am concerned that most of your sources come from Virginia Tech or the American University of Antigua. This raises neutrality and reliability issues. I suggest finding more third-party sources, such as local newspapers. Locally published books or materials held in local or university libraries might also be of assistance.
- I think the coverage of the school's academics is not sufficiently broad because the article does not discuss external reviews; US News & World Report is not enough!
- Reference #1 (About the College) does not link to a page that has the specific information that it supposedly sources; it only links to a list of more links.
- Are there any available free photos? Does the college have a logo that you can put up?
Please don't feel discouraged by this decision... improving this article to GA status certainly isn't impossible. (Most of my concerns revolve around sourcing issues, so you should definitely focus on that.) I wish you best of luck!!! Cheers, Edge3 (talk) 22:00, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
