The result of the move request was: Not moved, with no prejudice against speedy renomination. Balancing the weight of argument, sourcing, and policy (alluded to, but not specifically referenced) I feel that I should close this discussion as 'Not moved', as opposed to 'No consensus'. However, should there be more appropriate sourcing supporting the proposed change in title in the future, then opening another RM at that point would seem reasonable, and the outcome of this discussion should not be seen to prevent that. Viva TV (Philippine TV channel) → Viva Cinema – In late-July, Viva Entertainment announced that Viva TV has been reverting back to Viva Cinema (its original name). The renaming of the said channel became effective on August 1, 2021. Ekis2020 (talk) 03:30, 3 August 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. ASUKITE 15:39, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support. This happened on my Cignal last August 1. TheRafaMarc15 (talk) 02:35, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. We do not follow corporate rebrandings as reflected in primary sources. To justify a move, we need evidence that it the new name has been adopted in reliable secondary sources. So premature at best. Andrewa (talk) 08:54, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. Viva TV is still alive and well on its Facebook page: [1]. More evidence needed per Andrewa, if any move is to be considered. — Amakuru (talk) 01:47, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

Viva Cinema (TV channel) → Viva Cinema – This again. Try to remove the parentheses from disambiguation, since it's too ambiguous. RMXY (talk) 01:49, 13 July 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. EggRoll97 (talk) 03:44, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support Obvious move likely held up by the long edit history of the redirect. No real parallel to the 2021 RM which was more of a NAMECHANGES issue. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 19:42, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- Note that the previous move made by the proposer in September 2021 away from the Viva TV (Philippine TV channel) title should not have taken place, because moving to the official title without evidence of usage in reliable sources had already been rejected in talk page discussion the month before. Please do not make bold moves when there is evidence on the talk page that the move would be controversial. Dekimasuよ! 01:22, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- Comment the edit history at Viva Cinema (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) is about a PH TV channel 2003-2012, so the edit history can be moved to Viva Cinema (2003-2009), since the current Viva Cinema article already covers the 2009-2012 portion, the prior STAR-related channel 2003-2009 can be built from what is left of the old article. -- 67.70.25.80 (talk) 17:54, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
