In this article, the section about Victims contains 3 quotations describing how the subject proceeded to kill each victim. But there is no indication who the subject is referring to. If there are multiple victims then each victim should be identified separately, with their own sub-section; in effect a mini-biography should be written for each victim. Also the Manual of Style advises that quotations should be limited to illustrating a point, establishing context, or attributing a point of view or idea to a person. An example would be to demonstrate the state of mind of a killer (mens rea). However, using quotes to also describe a sequence of events or observable facts tends to be incompatible with an encyclopedic writing style. Quotes describing events should be rewritten and paraphrased in an editors own words. Also, each quotation needs to be cited, separately. A single citation for multiple quotes implies these quotations all appear together on the same page or in the same place of a document; if they don't then a text position location indicator such as page, paragraph or line number is useful. Translated quotations are particularly problematic because one is also dependent on the quality of translation, so the citation should also be citing the translator and the publish translated work. Since the cited source is in Russian, an English translation, using Google Translate, for example, might be considered Original Research, which is another reason not to use quotations like this. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 00:54, 15 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
