editWCML should not really direct here as it is more frequently used to refer to the West Coast Main Line.
- Agreed. Move the redirect back to the UKs premier railway line, rather than a non-descript footnote to a local US TV station.
Fair use rationale for Image:WCMU.jpg
editImage:WCMU.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Layout
editThe layout of this article is sloppy. There's a short lead paragraph then 20 lines of blank space then a chart. This needs to be fixed. TomCat4680 (talk) 00:15, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
New call sign for Flint station
editAs of May 11, the call letters for WCMU's Flint station is still WFUM. Until the new call letters show up on air, we need an official citation from CMU, the FCC or a bonafide journalistic source. Steelbeard1 (talk) 11:06, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
WCMU carriage in Canada
editWCMU was available on cable in Sault Ste. Marie Canada. It is unclear when this ended. It likely ended when Shaw Cable took over the system in 1994. Today all US feeds come from Detroit.Bigoranget (talk) 19:52, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
