British, or English?
editThe category was recently changed from British officer to English officer. As he was serving after 1707, I would have thought the former applied? Shipsview (talk) 11:45, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- I would have thought the bulk of his service would have been pre-union and the reference to William of Orange would seem to indicate English service. But reverted back to British Army as the safer option Kingbird1 (talk) 11:59, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- Maybe both apply? Shipsview (talk) 13:33, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- Perhaps but he may have been in the Scottish Army I guess so which category would be the question --Kingbird1 (talk) 15:15, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
