Waraich is for cool kids Its very unique and nice — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.60.168.22 (talk) 04:40, 6 November 2020 (UTC) Warraichs were the warrior caste of the jat clan from 1400s to 1900s.
Government gazetteer
editGovernment gazetteers are not WP:HISTRS. In fact, they are mostly copy-pasted from the unreliable Raj-era gazetteers. We need scholarly sources for caste/history-related details. - NitinMlk (talk) 22:39, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
Misplaced clan article
editThe Warraich clan seems non-notable and is not the primary topic. So this page should be a surname list article, per WP:ATD. BTW, if someone can show that the clan is notable, the surname article can be moved to Warraich (surname). But as of now, I am unable to find any in-depth coverage in WP:HISTRS-compliant sources. - NitinMlk (talk) 22:50, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- I have moved the clan article to Warraich (clan) and created a surname page at the base title Warraich. GTrang (talk) 15:04, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
