Hi, I think there should be some mention here of the subsequent history of this song. It became a communist song, and was subsequently sung in French with different lyrics, perhaps a translation of the later Polish or Russian version(s). There is also a wiki for a song called To the Barricades which is based on this song. I will dig around and see if I can get any more information on this. Because what I am thinking is that an extended wiki that gave an account of the successive versions of this song, in different languages, and gave an account of the circumstances behind the different versions, would make for an interesting slice of social history. As I said I don't know much about this as of yet. (I do know that there are several communist versions of this song available for free at various sites which could be linked in the proposed expanded article.)

Those are two diffrent song. This song called Warszawianka in Polish, there is also another song (a lot less popular due to its somewhat undeserved association with communism) written in 1879, and reffered to as Warszawianka 1905.
