Wesley (footballer, born 13 March 2000) → Wesley David de Oliveira Andrade – Per WP:NCDAB. (footballer, born 13 March 2000) is too pedantic in my opinion. Same logic applies for Wesley (footballer, born 5 March 2000). Nehme1499 12:30, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

- Support It is unlikely that the average reader will know the exact birthdate of the player and more likely they will know the full name. --SuperJew (talk) 14:58, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Support - in this case, full name is better than full DOB. GiantSnowman 18:53, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Oppose full name. Support Wesley de Oliveira Andrade. Doesn't use middle name at all. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:56, 11 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Weak oppose as per WP:COMMONNAME, I don't his full legal name is used commonly enough that it would help the average reader.--Ortizesp (talk) 20:30, 11 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 20:29, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Support. WP:COMMONNAME is bogus argument: we cannot move the article to Wesley. The discussion is how to disambiguate. Per WP:QUALIFIER, (
Using an alternative name that the subject is also commonly called in English reliable sources
) is the preferred way, and the subject's full legal name is a means of natural disambiguation. I checked, and Wesley David de Oliveira Andrade is amply used in sources (e.g. https://www.skysports.com/football/player/172475/wesley-david-de-oliveira-andrade). Parenthetical disambiguation via birth date should be the last resort, and is particularly useless here. (I cannot find any evidence for Necrothesp's claim that he "doesn't use middle name at all", on the contrary.) No such user (talk) 11:44, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Support. I agree with No such user's assessment in favor of natural disambiguation. Adumbrativus (talk) 08:13, 31 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
