This article shouldn't have been merged, it was a parish its own right and per WP:GEOLAND and WP:DEFUNCTS just because it was abolished doesn't mean it should be merged. It also has itw own (Grade I listed church). @Blue Square Thing: who said "Whether it needs it's own article is questionable then.". Note that the parish was merged in 1935.
