Support The slash is out of place in an article title. Should this proposal fail for some reason, then the article should be split in two, one for Israel and one for Palestine. Selfstudier (talk) 11:35, 30 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Oppose for the moment.Plant taxonomy is not politicized, and we shouldn't divide the flora of the I/P area along ethnogeographical lines. Plants are nomadic and cross borders without going to the passport office- I am also opposed to splitting the article: historic Palestine had roughly 4,500 varieties of plants, of which some 1,600 thrive in the West Bank. I don'0t know the data for Gaza.Nishidani (talk) 20:46, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Support. This is not about the scope of the article or the name of the territory, but about the styling of that name. That should be fixed. Address those other issues in discussion and/or another RM. But this one is a no-brainer. The proposed name may not be perfect, but there is no better suggestion, and it is an improvement. Andrewa (talk) 21:11, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
