The picture

The picture has to be a detail from the well known painting of King Christian IV of Denmark, as the German article says. - Kaitil (talk) 17:56, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Thank you. I've had a look; most of the information is outdated, some indeed going all the way back to Fétis in 1837. Some however may be possible to include. A lot of work has been done on Brade in the last 120 years, and I wrote the article from the most recent stuff I could find. Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 13:28, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

It's not clear to me how much more could be said about style and critical appreciation. Presumably the sparseness of historic material plays a role in contemporaneous commentary; if modern commentary exists, some should be included. A better works list could be compiled (and more formally arranged). For example, I can't figure out how many of what type of work he is known or believed to have written, from what's in the article. A discography (at least a representative one, if it's extensive) would be useful. For consideration at project-wide quality, the lead needs work, and reviewer will probably not like the absence of footnotes. They're also not likely to like the short paragraphs in Compositions.
