Dodd's Place?
editDoes anyone know if Dodd's Place, St Olave is named after William Dodd? (Dodd's Place is listed on GenDocs website of Victorian street names) 81.86.68.163 (talk) 19:32, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
"Hanged in a fortnight"
editAccording to Boswell's "Life of Johnson", the famous statement on a man's mind being concentrated does not come from his writings on Dodd's behalf, but from a later conversation with his friend W. Seward. I'll change the article if no-one argues.--Mabzilla (talk) 10:01, 11 April 2008 (UTC) I've now changed it.--Mabzilla (talk) 09:06, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
