Removal of "Japanese prison guards were desensitised to native insect bites"

edit

I have removed this as Bill said in a recent interview with Dan Snow (https://player.fm/series/dan-snows-history-hit-106527/the-war-in-the-east-part-2-with-dr-bill-frankland) [14:25 mins in) how many times he had been misquoted regarding this - "not true - we were never close enough to see what happened". Cause of death

edit

Regarding this edit, questioning why the article states "According to his son, Frankland died from COVID-19", the reason I phrased it like this is that none of the other obituaries I could find mentioned a cause of death. This one states that the care home he died in did not cite a cause. I've just looked to see if there are any new sources that mention COVID, but I can't find any. My guess would be that he had symptoms but hadn't been tested before he died. Suggestions for how we can best deal with this welcome. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:29, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ignore that: I've just found this in the BMJ, which includes his cause of death. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:37, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
