Merge?

edit

Regarding the suggestion to merge Ann Henry with her husband, William Henry: I would recommend against this. She was an important figure in her own right--an eighteenth-century woman serving as Treasurer of Pennsylvania's important Lancaster County--and to merge her into her husband is to repeat the too-familiar phenomenon by which women, even accomplished women, can only be "seen" through the accomplishments of their husbands. I wish there were more information available to flesh out an account of Ann Henry herself, but there just isn't. But a separate entry is nevertheless justified, in my opinion. I believe she is prominent enough to deserve her own biographical article. Joal Beal (talk) 17:22, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
She deserves her own article. She was an accomplished woman in early Pennsylvania history. --DThomsen8 (talk) 10:47, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
