There have been a few recent attempts, in applying WP:DPAGES, to merge Bill O'Reilly into William O'Reilly. However, WP:DPAGES also states that "Editorial judgment should be used in deciding whether to combine terms". The problem is that Bill O'Reilly has historically been subject to numerous edit wars and move discussions regarding what should be the primary topic of "Bill O'Reilly". IMO, these editing conflicts and heated debates should be confined to only the Bill O'Reilly and Talk:Bill O'Reilly pages and, not spill over into the William O'Reilly pages. Thanks. Nine years has past since the above comment, which had validity at the time; In my opinion, it is now a good idea to combine William and Bill, and I have done so. I have left Talk:Bill O'Reilly intact. Any concerns, let's discuss. Thanks KConWiki (talk) 19:41, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
