The result of the move request was: Move to William Taylor (Virginia politician, born 1788). (non-admin closure) Vpab15 (talk) 14:14, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
William Taylor (Virginia) → ? – William P. Taylor is also from Virginia, and is also a politician (equally problematic, since William Taylor (Virginia politician) redirects here). BD2412 T 05:30, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. A glance at the main title headers used by entries under the William Taylor#United States disambiguation page, suggests that, since William Taylor (Virginia) and William P. Taylor were both congressmen from Virginia, one disambiguation possibility might be William Taylor (Virginia) → William Taylor (Virginia politician, born 1788) or the more-specific William Taylor (Virginia congressman, born 1788). Also, while William Taylor (Virginia politician) does indeed redirect to William Taylor (Virginia), rather than to the William Taylor#United States dab page, another closely related redirect, William P. Taylor (Virginian), inexplicably flows to the entry for same-surnamed Virginian, Robert B. Taylor. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:29, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support William Taylor (Virginia politician, born 1788), our standard disambiguator in these circumstances. Most certainly not a Virginia and not the only politician by that name from Virginia. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:23, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
