No mention of the major design changes which occurred between versions of Windows 10

edit

I visited this page because I wished to known what versions of Windows 10 added the background blur effect, fluent design, OOBE and layout changes, etc. I was unable to find any mention of those things here. -A Fluffy Kitteh | FluffyKittehz User Profile Page 16:46, 31 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Windows 24H1, yes, no 24H2: second half hasn't arrived yet

edit

Hi, wikiadmins!

Windows 24H1, yes, no 24H2: second half hasn't arrived yet.

Which world are you living in? There hasn't been a YYH1 release since 21H1; It's only YYH2 release since 21H2 which is now only for Windows 11. Windows 10 has ended with 22H2. 𝓥𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓷24𝓑𝓲𝓸 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 14:58, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Future updates

edit

I attempted to add rows for future updates in the previous month, particularly to versions whose only currently supported editions are LTSB/LTSC only with an edit summary that describes Microsoft's patch routine for those types of versions:

However, they were all reverted afterwards with this edit summary describing the reverts, but without further explanation. Vestrian24Bio and Awesome Aasim, if anyone assumes those additions were non-constructive, why would that be so? Should consensus be reached on whether to add future patches, including to those of Windows 11? Kindly explain.102.158.207.185 (talk) 18:46, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

We don't add table rows preemptively. Vestrian24Bio (TALK) 00:33, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I do not get the concept behind this.102.158.207.185 (talk) 14:51, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Let's just say that we only list the released patches and not future patches. Vestrian24Bio (TALK) 15:45, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: Can you please copy this request over to Template_talk:Windows_10_versions? Since you're asking for a cut and paste change, I want to maintain the attribution history in the right place. Thanks! PianoDan (talk) 20:20, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
