New article

edit

Hi! I just created this list - feel free to add more facts, according to de:Welterbe in Deutschland. Especially the Tentative list section still needs to be translated, admittedly I've been lazy, but wanted to include it already. Ahoi Horst-schlaemma (talk) 17:49, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

World Heritage Sites in GermanyList of World Heritage Sites in Germany – If this article is a list, is categorized as a list and rated as a list, shouldn't it be named "List of List of World Heritage Sites in Germany", as all other lists at Category:Lists of World Heritage Sites?- ELEKHHT 00:32, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

No. This is supposed to follow the scheme of the corresponding German Wiki article de:Welterbe in Deutschland. It won't be merely a list, but also examine detailed information on the development, circumstances and special cases of the world heritage in Germany. Besides, even for lists I don't think "list" needs to be included in the articles name, since it's pretty much self-explaining. Cheers Horst-schlaemma (talk) 13:19, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
So any article that consists of a list needs to be called "List of"? Why so? Why not call any other article "Article about" then? It doesn't really make a lot of sense. -- Horst-schlaemma (talk) 17:48, 16 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Missing topics

edit

Hi, some facts should be added here, like the general historical overview for Germany, the Dresden Elbe Valley needs to be mentioned; perhaps also entries of former tentative lists. It could all be inspired by de:Welterbe in Deutschland. Cheers, Horst-schlaemma (talk) 16:16, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please move the Hamburg entry

edit

Please move and expand the Speicherstadt and Kontorhausviertel (including the Chilehaus) in Hamburg entry from the "Tentative list" to "World Heritage Sites in Germany": http://www.businessinsider.com/afp-hamburgs-historic-port-warehouses-win-un-world-heritage-nod-2015-7 http://www.dw.com/en/hamburgs-speicherstadt-warehouse-district-made-world-heritage-site/a-18562386

Why did You Kill my map?

edit

What is Your problem with my map It shows the current status and it works on mobile phones / tablets. Your map links to the citys, but that is nonsens. Because the citys are not World heritage. --Lencer (talk) 11:59, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

There's no good reason for having two maps one above the other. The new one has links, which is helpful and the labels are editable, which is also useful. Furius (talk) 12:09, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also, the new style is clickable, compact, updated regarding the previous clickable map, and consistent with lists for other countries, several of which are FLs. --Tone 13:06, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
No, it isn't usefull to have nonsens links to citys if the topic of the article is heritage sites. My map shows relationships between locations and also areas of the wadden sea and courses of the Limes. But hey, make the information simple, make wikipedia unnecessary. Good work, bye Lencer (talk) 13:11, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
