Link to draft page was removed. AfC reviewer needed
editI wrote a sentence about Alexander Smukler, one of Yuli Edelstein's Hebrew students. I linked to a draft page that I created about Smukler. However, somebody removed the internal link because it's a draft page, and now the red link says that a page does not exist. Does anyone here have the ability to approve my draft of Alexander Smukler and move it to the article space? It's here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Alexander_Smukler JournalismResearch (talk) 11:34, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Eve of Israeli independence
editThere is a point in the early life section which should be stated clearer, the eve of Israeli independence day in 1987, is not the day Israel became independent as a country (in 1948). Could someone clarify that? thank you Naths84 (talk) 19:27, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

Please add the following paragraph to the bottom of the "Statements" section:
- In November 2024, following the Lithuanian parliamentary election and the decision of the Social Democrats to invite the Dawn of Nemunas party into the country's ruling coalition, Edelstein commented that he viewed the rise of a "party with anti-Semitic links" with great concern.[1] The founder of Dawn of Nemunas, Remigijus Žemaitaitis, is known for making anti-Semitic and anti-Israel statements.[2]
Feel free to reword. I believe coverage of this statement by Edelstein is warranted and is of a similar nature to the other content in the section (especially the paragraph about Bernie Sanders). There are other possible sources, e.g. this paywalled article in French from Le Monde and this article in Lithuanian, but I think the English-language LRT one is sufficient and most likely to be understood by readers. 98.170.164.88 (talk) 06:17, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
