Zangezur (historical province) → Zangezur (region) – The article is basically about the region, and it is connected to the pages about the region on other Wikipedias, so I think this is a better title for the article. Maybe we could just move it to "Zangezur" and move Zangezur to Zangezur (disambiguation). Noting that this is also what other Wikipedias do. • Support move to either "Zangezur" or "Zangezur (region)". My personal preference would be to go all the way down to "Zangezur", as the region seems to have the most long-term significance of anything that's described simply as Zangezur; however, switching to "Zangezur (region)" would still improve concision and reflect the article content more accurately. • Move to "Zangezur (historical region)". Emphasizing that it is historical, as its history effectively ended with Sovietization of Armenia and Azerbaijan in early 1920s. Current attempts of reviving this name in modern era are by Azerbaijani irredentists and pan-Turkists advocating the quasi-irrendist concept of "Zangezur corridor" and the wishes of Azerbaijanis to "return to Zangezur". --Armatura (talk) 22:30, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
  • Whatever the motives, the effect is a contemporary usage of the term for the region. Furthermore, per WP:CONCISE and WP:NCDAB ("choose whichever is simpler"), "historical" should only be used if contrasting the region with another modern region; otherwise, it is superfluous. —  AjaxSmack  20:16, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
