Tasuj District (Persian: بخش تسوج)[a] is in Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Tasuj.[4]

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 18,708 in 5,440 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 18,046 people in 5,736 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 18,842 inhabitants in 6,458 households.[2]
