Improved to Good Article status by Peacemaker67 (talk). Self-nominated at 07:07, 31 July 2017 (UTC).
- New enough when nominated. GA - so references, length, no copyvio aside from some inevitable matches - all checks out. 1st reference is properly referenced and cited in the article. The 2nd reference has 2 sources cited, both of which do not contain the citation mentioned in the article, which is the source for the fact that he was awarded the medal for leadership during the capture of Crepey Wood. QPQ not required. Image is PD and looks good. On hold for now, though this can be passed with only ALT0 if the nominator requests so. Jupitus Smart 11:35, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- G'day Jupitus Smart, to get to the actual recommendation for ALT1, you just have to click through the Honours and Awards (Recommendation): Award/Honour Distinguished Service Order link on that page to the pdf of the citation. But I'm hapy with ALT0. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 23:57, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah ALT1 checks out fine as well. Both are good to go. Jupitus Smart 03:30, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
