Kyllikki Pohjala
- ... that Finnish minister Kyllikki Pohjala (pictured) learned English while she worked in New York hospitals to pay for her education at Columbia University? Source: "She obtained the money and language skills required for her studies by working at New York hospitals for five years and graduated as a nursing teacher from Columbia University in 1927." [1]

- Its a good size and its well reffed. She was a war heroine too. I tweaked the nom to introduce her. Cannot see any close paraphrasing but I do see lots of refs and its neutral. Free to use pic available. Hook is intriguing and not over long. Yet another WIR article. Well done Dan. Victuallers (talk) 09:46, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
