Easing server load, shortening the notice, and consolidating the guides
edit- I've written up my idea. I now suggest a much shorter version of the VFD header:
If you want to nominate an article for deletion read this carefully. |
Votes for Deletion (VfD) is where Wikipedians decide what should be done with an article. For a guide to VfD please read the Guide to Votes for Deletion, which is separate from this page for performance reasons.
You are currently viewing all of the last few day's discussions, listed by day. You can also navigate from here to older discussions, or make a nomination.
Alternatives:
- You can view AllyUnion's new list of discussions, updated hourly every 50 minutes on the hour. This list of discussions keeps a list of 7 days of discussions.
- You can view Tony Sidaway's list of discussions by day, starting from 2005-01-01.
As an another alternative, you may choose to add each VFD subpage day to your watchlist by clicking this link: Add today's VFD to watchlist
- Please see Wikipedia talk:Guide to Votes for Deletion for the rationale behind this. Uncle G 18:06, 2005 Feb 23 (UTC)
