Perhaps the "in writing" bit should be removed? All appeals will obviously be made in writing, rather than, say, in the form of a YouTube video, so it seems rather redundant to include this. 85.117.21.156 (talk) 13:42, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the

template. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:10, 14 August 2012 (UTC)- Partly done: [1]. However, this is otherwise fine as it is. AGK [•] 16:57, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Can an admin change the e-mail address part? arbcom-appeals-en lists.wikimedia.org is the mailing list for appeals by blocked or banned users. Thanks Hto9950 (talk | contribs) 15:46, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

- I reverted this edit. ArbCom blocks are made by the committee, and appeals of them are therefore never heard by the subcommittee. See also my edit in September 2012. AGK [•] 12:34, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- Well, we'll wait and see if someone that has the template placed on their talk page see if they appeal a block to ArbCom. For the moment, it is 50/50. Hto9950 17:46, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

- Sorry for missing your message! I was thinking of {{checkuserblock}} and all the templates listed at Template:Uw-block/doc/Block templates. And I suppose we are better using all the available space…? Not massively fussed if you want the template to be narrower. AGK ■ 19:42, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
