Guest voices

edit

My thought is that "Guest voices" doesn't really belong under the "Characters" section (since guest voices aren't really the characters themselves), but rather under the "Information" section. Any thoughts on this suggestion? Prototime 20:03, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. And I moved it. =) (It's mostly because guest voices also stretches out the template box more than I like. --Crisu 22:05, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Chakra

edit

I started a Chakra link in the Template. It's to give simple info on Chakra in the show which differs from what the Chakra really. Some wanted to just go to Chakra and that's okay for teens/adults but I just wanted something for the average kid to read. Most aren't going to understand the infomation and I wanted to make something for them to make it simple for them. Ebonize Christian 01:05, 2 December 2006 (CT)

Pai Sho + Avatar State

edit

Not good with names. Huh, shouldn't it be the other way around? Eh, anyway though they are nice articles, but considering their categorization (hope I'm spelling it right) I don't think its neccessary to display them in the main template box. They should instead be inserted (as they already are) into a more suitable page. Pai Sho for Iroh, Aang for the Avatar State. We don't have to throw every single page we have in here. Take the Ba Sing Se's page for example, on it's own, its pretty well-organized and referenced, but its not here. Instead, its link fits snuggly into the Earth Kingdom page. ~Father's Wish 14 March 2007 (CT)

Honestly, my question would tend to be why Ba Sing Se isn't here. Navigational templates are usually pretty all-inclusive, and there's really no reason for this one not to be, in my opinion.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 18:38, 16 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Like I said, "its link fits snuggly into the Earth Kingdom page". If ya look at the template, to say the least, its catorgerized. Take Ba Sing Se for example: (Universe)-> Earth Kingdom-> Main Article: Ba Sing Se (its link is in the very first paragraph). For Pai Sho: Iroh-> Main Article: Pai Sho. Then for something like Chakra which doesn't currently have a proper present categorization but has a large amount of information and proves to be a fundemental concept of the show's universe thingie, its link is right up their under Universe. Basically its all about maintaining the organization, which is pretty much how this thing got on FA status, which I'm told is supposed to be a "big deal". ~Father's Wish 17 March 2007 (CT) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Father's Wish II (talkcontribs) 03:52, 17 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

New Character Pages

edit

Shouldn't we start making pages for Mai and Ty Lee? Their discriptions are getting pretty big. I also think way more can be added to their descriptions. Mai and Ty Lee are currently being treated as main characters. One more thing: According to the first trailer for season 3, it shows Mai kissing Zuko and the possibilities of new looks for Ty Lee.

Organisation

edit

You know, the characters part of this template isn't really organised. I put the names in alphabetical order, and it's reversed. Why? Hello2112 17:41, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Websites

edit

Are the other websites really needed? Earthbendingmaster 16:33, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, they aren't. All of the information available on those sites is available here as well. The only one i could see needing a link would be the wikiquote, but that can go on the list page. Rau J16 19:38, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I try to be nice and help out so that the links to the sites can be found in all Avatar pages without need for repitition but since you guys are so stubborn i am going to keep undoing your changes untill you understand my point. So there! Zero 14 February 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zero2001 (talkcontribs) 03:49, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

And we will continue to undo yours. Fansites do not belong in the template and Wikiquote is already provided on the articles. They are not needed. Rau's talk 03:55, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fine then remove the fansites but dont remove the wikiquote and wikis because they belong to the WIKI Community. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zero2001 (talkcontribs) 04:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Avatar Wikia is a fansite and Wikiquote does not belong in the template. The template is for major and relevant articles inside Wikipedia. Rau's talk 04:09, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Movie

edit

Just wondering; since the movie haven't its own article yet, shouldn't it be excluded from the template until such time arrives? Additionally, I was wondering if the movie article would be part of the "franchise" section...--haha169 (talk) 19:04, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Requested move

edit

{{movereq}}

Template:AvatarTemplate:Avatar: The Last Airbender

Matching the title of the main article, and gets rid of a title that has been highly contentious in articlespace (Talk:avatar), and also for the second most popular film in history {{Avatar (film)}} (Avatar (2009 film))

Regarding template change

edit

I made this version to help simplify the organization. I realize it was a bold edit, and if reverted I would at least like a discussion for it. thank you.Lucia Black (talk) 05:11, 31 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
