Image?
editI think there should be an option to add image of the minister in the template. -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 07:18, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed, even just small ones. Many cabinet pages want to have pictures, meaning authors actively choose not to use this template. Skjoldbro (talk) 07:33, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Skjoldbro I managed to successfully insert images, into this template. see this version to see how. I used the image before the name as an unbulleted list. Venkat TL (talk) 14:50, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
ref?
editWhat does "minister1_ref" mean? Thanks Davidelit (Talk) 08:49, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Davidelit ref always refers to reference. So that parameter is to add the reference about that minister. Venkat TL (talk) 14:15, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
Constituency details should be added
editThe seat (Constituency) represented by respective minister should be added. A new column would be better. -Vijethnbharadwaj (talk) 09:13, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Vijethnbharadwaj No. I believe it is unnecessary detail in the cabinet table. The constitution is only relevant in the table of MLAs. These cabinet ministers are the ministers for entire geographical entity, and not just the cabinet. Venkat TL (talk) 17:41, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Image and caption
edit@Bedivere regarding our ongoing dispute being carried forward through edit summaries here Please note the first section on this thread that discusses the lack of image support by this template. The Thumnail image with caption is a work around that makes it possible for the template to have an image. Why are you opposed to keep the thumbnail image? Venkat TL (talk) 17:39, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
