Template talk:Clerk note

Intended for the new RFCU clerks, but could be used by the Arbitration Committee clerks or other clerks, so I thought I'd stick it in the template space. Essjay (TalkConnect) 21:27, 4 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

In my opinion, the image   ([[Image:Pictogram voting info.svg|20px]]) would look better on this template. It is the image used on {{Bureaucrat-note}} and {{CHU}}, so it would be good to have matching images for the notes left on WP:CHU. Not really an important change, so if anyone disagrees feel free to disregard this request, but matching images would be nice. --NickContact/Contribs 04:53, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's ok, I guess. The other image looks a little blurry to me, too, this is cleaner-looking. Thatcher131 11:05, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{editprotected}} Previous change was recently modified because of an editprotected request. I request to have it reverted, because it fits in more with the other templates at RFCU. GrooveDog (talk) (Review) 02:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

  Done. Cheers. --MZMcBride 03:13, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Documentation

{{editprotected}} Could an administrator transclude the documentation subpage to the main template? Thanks. Set Sail For The Seven Seas 345° 34' 15" NET 23:02, 15 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Could an administrator change this

[[File:Symbol comment vote.svg|17px|link=|alt=]] '''Clerk note{{{1|}}}{{{2|:}}}'''<noinclude> ===Usage=== *<tt><nowiki>{{Clerk-Note}}</nowiki></tt> produces {{clerk-Note}} *<tt><nowiki>{{Clerk-Note|s}}</nowiki></tt> produces {{clerk-Note|s}} *<tt><nowiki>{{Clerk-Note|2=}}</nowiki></tt> will hide the : after note, {{clerk-note|2=}} *<tt><nowiki>{{Clerk-Note|s|—}}</nowiki></tt> will produce {{clerk-note|s|–}} Et cetera. Note, if you're using parameter 2 (the part that changes the colon) and ''not'' parameter 1 (to change note to notes, or whatnot), you need to include 2= before it, or it will count it as parameter 1. {{/doc}} [[Category:Image with comment templates|{{PAGENAME}}]] [[Category:SPI templates|{{PAGENAME}}]] </noinclude>

to this

[[File:Symbol comment vote.svg|17px|link=|alt=]] '''Clerk note{{{1|}}}{{{2|:}}}'''<noinclude>{{Documentation}}</noinclude>

at Template:Clerk-Note? My first request was misunderstood. Thanks. Set Sail For The Seven Seas 246° 1' 0" NET 16:24, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Could someone change bold text to bold text (see the code used) to prevent User:Ais523/votesymbols.js from doubling the icons? For instance, support has the icons from the script, but support does not. →Στc. 01:04, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not done This seems like a larger problem with this script than just this template, and I don't see any hint of consensus for using complicated markup in numerous templates for the benefit of a little-used userscript. Why not fix the script instead so it will ignore <b> tags that are preceeded by an <img>? Anomie 03:18, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Redirect cats

edit

This redirect is in a category where it should not be and also needs other redirect category templates. Please modify this:

#REDIRECT [[Template:Clerk-Note]]
(blank line)
[[Category:Semi-protected redirects]]

...to this:

#REDIRECT [[Template:Clerk-Note]]
(blank line)
{{Redr|mod|protected}}

This will remove that redirect from Category:Semi-protected redirects and place it in Category:Redirects from modifications and Category:Protected redirects. Thank you very much! – p i e (Climax!03:06, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
