Consistency vs val template
editThe val template formats simple margins of error (±) using margins, 0.3em on the left and 0.15em on the right of the ± symbol. This is widely used within Wikipedia. This template uses a plain space on either side of the ± symbol, which renders slightly differently. Should it be the same? A simple solution would be for ErrorBar2 to use the val template internally. Lithopsian (talk) 15:04, 26 October 2020 (UTC)

- I've created a template in the sandbox that works exactly as now except that the ± is formatted using the val template, so slightly different spacings. Lithopsian (talk) 20:16, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
