Common goods
edit- Common goods (Common-pool resources): fish stocks, timber, coal, national health service
Eh? Timber and coal generally have an owner, who can exclude others from harvesting. As for a national health service – does the mode of management change the nature of the good? —Tamfang (talk) 07:14, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Private goods
editThe current list of "private goods" ("food, clothing, cars, personal electronics") seems sort of redundant; by the time we've got a couple of those, people get the point; it's stuff that is almost always owned by private individuals. But some private goods can also be owned by the public or by private companies. I'd propose swapping in an example of a private good that isn't always owned by private individuals: "food, clothing, cars, parking spaces." Andersem (talk) 20:46, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
