Mediums or media
editI think mediums sounds better. Both mediums and media are plural. Media sounds too much like audio/visual or social media. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sidelight12 (talk • contribs) 21:36, 30 August 2012
- I don't feel strongly about it. To me, "mediums" sound like people who are psychic. Would "materials" or "substrates" be alternatives? --Tryptofish (talk) 21:43, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, see also Growth medium, where the plural used seems to be "media". --Tryptofish (talk) 21:51, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- "Substrates" looks good! --Tryptofish (talk) 22:28, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
Layout
editbecause readout is easier on the eyes, centered. Sidelight12 (talk) 22:26, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with the other editor, who changed it back to blue and left-justified. If you look at other similar templates on the pages where this one is also used, that's the most common design, and I prefer to have uniformity in these things. We could make them all gray and centered, and that would be OK with me too, but it would have to be exhaustive, all over Wikipedia. For me, it's just a matter of consistency. --Tryptofish (talk) 22:36, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- yes, I agree as well that we should stick with the default. if we do decide to center the lists, then use "liststyle = text-align:center", rather than center tags. Frietjes (talk) 22:42, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
