Capacity or history?

edit

I was wondering should we really bother having the ground capacities, as it's really a thing tha'ts only valid for the moment - the MCG capacity now vs 1970 vs 1920 is very different, but on Melbourne Football Club's page it only has Ground - MCG 100,000 or whatever. Would it not be better to have the history of home grounds, as per the NFL style (see San Diego Chargers), or stick with capacity, similar to the Premier League clubs (see Manchester United F.C.). If we keep the capacity, then I think we need to label it, not just have it as a number after the ground. It makes sense to us, but to others, Subiaco Oval 43,500 might be it's post code! If we switch to the history of home grounds styles, for transient teams like Fitzroy we might need a much bigger box if we want to add the years! For know I think we'll keep the capacity, but make it optional (again) and label it. The-Pope (talk) 15:42, 13 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Changes to Current Season

edit

I think we should change how we display "Current Season" to be more inline with other major sporting codes.

By this I mean using the image: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:AFL_current_event.svg with the words "Current Season" next to it.

Some examples: NFL - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Giants Soccer - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_Sounders_FC — Preceding unsigned comment added by Synthesized designs (talkcontribs) 18:36, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
