Comment: If using this template for donkey breeds, we may want to consider the colorless border format used by {{Infobox horse breed}}. The {{infobox animal breed}} one is problematic as it seems to be using the infobox format with the tan/gold border (whatever color that is) that is used for animal species, suitable for "generic" articles such as donkey, horse, or even dog. But see also {{infobox dog breed}}, which also differs from the species box. Just a thought. Don't know about you, but I have run into a few editors at places like GAN who get confused about the difference between an animal species and an animal breed. The different look to the infobox may help a little. I will also ping @RexxS: and @Pigsonthewing: who have worked on these and both know way more about syntax than I do. I don't have a real strong feeling on this, other than the no-color box being nice to avoid drama over colors. That and the color of the animal breed box looks kind of like dried urine. ;-) Montanabw(talk)08:09, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
