Parameter location no work
editI have just been trying to get this template to work on the article Indian Institute of Advanced Study. The |location= parameter does not work as the doc page suggests. Also, I believe the doc page is wrong
Looking at the code, the field "Location" should be keyed off the parameter |city=, and not the parameter |location= as it currently is. In fact, I do not believe there should even be a parameter |location=. That is to say, the doc page is wrong. I believe the doc page should list the parameters |city=, |state=, |province=, |country=, and should not list a parameter |location= at all. (Note that for a "Location" field to be displayed correctly, the parameter |city= should be present.)
I believe I could fix this, but the template is well used and, without a sandbox and testcases, I hesitate to do so. HairyWombat 17:29, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Coordinates fixed
editThe display of geographical coordinates was broken; the value was not displaying. The damage appears to have been done on July 30, 2010 (somewhere in here). While fixing the display of coordinates, I also took the opportunity to put them back under the "Location" label (where they belong), and trimmed the options back to only the parameter |coor=. Sandbox and testcases
editThis template now has a sandbox and testcases. Hopefully, this will discourage people from making untested changes to the template and breaking it. (See the two sections immediately above for examples of such damage.) HairyWombat 03:19, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
