Tomorrow (April 3), this wiki will be upgraded to MediaWiki 1.23wmf20, which breaks this hacky template by fixing bug 35486. I've copied CodeCat's fix for the English Wiktionary to {{isValidPageName/sandbox}}. The new version uses an official Scribunto API for determining whether the input is valid. It currently passes all the tests, but they will fail on Thursday because {{isValidPageName}} will no longer consider any input to be invalid. Please copy Template:isValidPageName/sandbox to Template:isValidPageName (and fully protect Module:IsValidPageName). Thanks! – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 10:14, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
