Template talk:Mozart masses
Initial revision
editI don't know what I did wrong, but Template:Navbox just doesn't want to work for me. James470 (talk) 00:28, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- I got it working. Not sure how, but recopied some things. Let me know if there's issuesDavidRF (talk) 05:05, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. My first draft I copied from Template:Haydn masses and adjusted for Mozart. James470 (talk) 06:25, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
K6 only?
editThe K6-numbers look a bit odd by themselves. I'm used to either K1 alone or K1/K6 or K1 (K6). Not a big deal, but just noting it here.DavidRF (talk) 05:07, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- Record collectors would certainly be confused by K6 alone. Even CD collectors, come to think of it. James470 (talk) 06:30, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Title
editThe template grew nicely, - should it include the vespers and be called Mozart's church music? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:10, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- Could be renamed to Template:Mozart sacred music or something like that, but even without such renaming I'd include everything that's in NMA Serie I: Geistliche Gesangswerke (e.g. also Betulia Liberata) + instrumental sacred music like the epistle sonatas. --Francis Schonken (talk) 08:16, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- I would go as far as renaming the template, but it could be mentioned in the header. Will do. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:19, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
Groups: if we link Mass specifically to the ordinarium missae, we should not include Marian songs as part of it. - I noticed in other context that Magnificat can be regarded as part of mass, but then in a broader meaning. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:03, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- Tried to give a solution to that. For e.c. avoidance: I've done improving the template for now, feel free to update whatever improvement would still be desirable. --Francis Schonken (talk) 11:30, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
Size reduction
editAn attempt to reduce the overall size of the template somewhat:
Good idea? --Francis Schonken (talk) 12:19, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
