Description of suggested change: The implied scope of the template is misleading regarding new pages. If a mainspace page requires this template because it is in a state of "being created", new page review norms point to the page requiring removal from mainspace instead. The remaining verbiage seems sufficient for all other use cases in draftspace as well as mainspace.
(I've also supplied a minor copy-editing tweak in my diff.)

editCan we delete "If you are the editor who added this template and you are actively editing, please be sure to replace this template with "in use" during the active editing session. Click on the link for template parameters to use." .... 1. I am the editor who added it ... I don't need to be reminded of this advice every time I edit the article - and its of no interest to anyone else. 2. I never use the "in use" template and I see no reason why I need to see an advert for it or be instructed to do so by a template every time I come back to the article. It could just say "there is an "in use" template which anyone may use when editting this article". Victuallers (talk) 11:50, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
