New template suggestion: Numberdis-cleanup
editThe numberdis template should have an equivalent to {{disambig-cleanup}} and {{hndis-cleanup}}. I'm not acquainted with the process of creating a template, or I'd make one myself - anyone else interested in lending a hand? PaladinWhite 06:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Please update the template's code from the sandbox version, which:
- Uses
|nocat=
to disable{{Disambiguation page short description}}
- Propagates the value of
{{{nocat}}}
to the{{Dmbox}}
transclusion.
These changes (borrowed from the {{Disambiguation}}
template code) allow categorization to be prevented when displaying example message boxes on pages like Wikipedia:Template_messages/General, which is currently being categorized in Category:Disambiguation pages with short description. FeRDNYC (talk) 01:36, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
