Hello, the format of Wikipedia logo is PNG. The same logo exists in SVG format. Please change Wikipedia-logo.png to Wikipedia-logo-v2.svg. Nodulation (talk) 17:48, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Adding images to a category
editI noticed that some of the files (example File:Anas-americana-004.jpg) show up in Special:UncategorizedFiles. I suggest that we add a category to the template so thay all the POTD-files end up in a category. That would make it easier to see the files and it would also help us keep Special:UncategorizedFiles empty. --MGA73 (talk) 11:03, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

Change wording for future POTDs
editShould we change the wording of the template to say something like "This image will appear on Wikipedia's Main Page as picture of the day" (copying wording from {{Article history}}? It would be more accurate and grammatical. feminist (talk) 12:36, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
