editWhy add redlinks?
editI see no value in filling up the streets template with redlinks to non-existent articles. A template should not be a to-do list. Suggest we wait until the articles have been created and then add them. Shawn in Montreal 16:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Sherbrooke Street
editFor now, it's a redirect to the Quebec Route 138 article since it forms part of the route for practically its entire length... Ranma9617 04:08, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- It exists as an article now 132.205.99.122 (talk) 00:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
MTLskyline's proposals
editI'm generally fine with the proposed redlinks, as long as we remember that President Kennedy is but a short section of Ontario and there may be a case to be made for making Ontario the article name. Also, how do we list the notable Cote-Sainte-Catherine Road? It's neither east-west nor north-south, is it? Shawn in Montreal (talk) 03:55, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- I turned the red links into stub articles. If there are any inaccuracies feel free to fix them. I also removed President Kennedy, Ontario can be added? Not sure what to do about Cote Sainte-Catherine, but I suppose Montrealers have a distorted view of geography so it'll fit in anywhere. MTLskyline (talk) 05:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Could you please turn Bleury Street into a redirect to the existing Parc Avenue article and remove from the template? They are, of course, the same street. The Bleury name change south of Sherbrooke is already referenced in the Parc article. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 14:28, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Language?
editWhy are the streets in English but the expressways in French? (Signs do show both languages: [1][2]) --NE2 21:49, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Deletion of Saint-Michel Boulevard (Montreal)
edit@MTLskyline:
There is a movement afoot to delete Saint-Michel Boulevard (Montreal) and to remove it from this template. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saint-Michel Boulevard (Montreal). Peter Horn User talk 21:42, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
