Please add to Template:Horseracing-stub as either hatnotes or to See also (and then please consider doing the same for the other two templates):

For equestrian biographies, use {{Equestrian-bio-stub}}.

For other horse- or equestrianism-related articles, use {{Horse-stub}}.

add link to the template for "external links" so people can see what it's referring to This-is-name (talk) 23:22, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Enterprisey (talk!) 04:34, 31 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@FlightTime: {{subst:ETp|mis}} would have been better. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 20:21, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Can you please updated Template:ThompsonNicola-geo-stub so that applicable articles are placed into Category:Thompson-Nicola Regional District geography stubs instead of Category:British Columbia Interior geography stubs? I've already created the category and the current setup exists for Template:Cariboo-geo-stub. Thank you.--MuzikMachine (talk) 19:32, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Changing example of a stub

edit

I don’t like how the current example of a stub in the “How is a stub identified?” section is just the regular {{stub}}. Could we change it to {{Cyrillic-alphabet-stub}}? 2601:C6:D200:E9B0:E59B:9D08:7851:7695 (talk) 22:52, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I’d like to change the example of a stub from the regular stub template to the Cyrillic stub template. So, it would like like this:

"As usual, templates are added by including their name inside double braces, e.g. {{Cyrillic-alphabet-stub}}." 2601:C6:D200:E9B0:E59B:9D08:7851:7695 (talk) 22:56, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

  Not done. I don't see the point in this. The specific stub template being viewed is already provided under the "Usage" section of a stub template (via {{asbox}}). See, for example, Template:Cyrillic-alphabet-stub#Usage or Template:Hist-stub#Usage. There doesn't need to be an example of some other random stub template. Maybe the example can be the page name? 2601:C6:D200:E9B0:E59B:9D08:7851:7695 (talk) 00:32, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I’d like to change the example of a stub in the “How is a stub identified?” section to the name of the stub you’re working with. So on the Europe stub, it would look like this:

Place a stub template at the very end of the article, after the "External links" section, any navigation templates, and the category tags. As usual, templates are added by including their name inside double braces, e.g. {{Europe-stub}}.

While on the Phonetics stub, it would look like this:

Place a stub template at the very end of the article, after the "External links" section, any navigation templates, and the category tags. As usual, templates are added by including their name inside double braces, e.g. {{Phonetics-stub}}. 2601:C6:D200:E9B0:A4ED:D8FB:CD17:1710 (talk) 16:09, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
