Georgia (country) vs Georgia (U.S. state)

Could we change "GA" from "Georgia" to "Georgia (U.S. state)"? When used in conjunction with Template:Flag, GA yields Georgia (country). Ideally, there should be a switch allowing users to display the former while linking to the latter. Iketsi (talk) 01:39, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

Not sure it was designed to be used in conjunction with {{flag}}. I'll put in a hack at the disc golf template. Primefac (talk) 14:43, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
