Change proposal

Change

Couple of changes, please. It would be nice for consistency for the second word to be changed to "user", and for the last word to be changed from "difficulties" to "difficulty". Difficulty should remain a singular noun as it refers to collective group, and not each "difficulty" being counted as singular. Difficult, eh? :D Nippoo 17:31, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

Gray?

Why is this gray when every other zero level template is pink? And whatever happened to "understands it with considerable difficulty?" - ∅ (∅), 16:49, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Did you not see (after clicking your link):

• Replace 2 with "understands English with considerable difficulty".

Gray vs pink

As it is stated above: someone has changed all the level 0 templates. But on them, it seems to be changed based on the change for this one. And here [1] is the diff where it was changed on this. Also, the others have been changed by a block-evading sock- a clear indication something not is right: [2]. Isn't the level 0 a level to brand with red? It's a stop-sign: "This user doesn't understand English, be warned! Try to find another language!" The level five is rather redundant anyway, IMHO. (Just look at it's talk page.) If a color should be changed, it should be at the level five. Greswik 13:55, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

"Be warned!"? What? Do you know what the -0 level templates are supposed to do? They are meant to say in the native tongue this user does not speak this language, so that someone who speaks German doesn't ask someone to help him on the German Wikipedia because he has {{User German}} on his user page. The red follows the visible spectrum, blue(1)-indigo(2)-green(3)-yellow(4)-red(5). And the grey says, "The user does not know this language" because it is grey. -Babelious 04:14, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Isn't that essentially the same thing though? "This user doesn't understand $LANGUAGE, be warned! Try to find another language!", in the native tongue, so that someone who speaks $LANGUAGE doesn't ask someone to help them on the $LANGUAGE wikipedia (including $LANGUAGE='English')? - ∅ (∅), 08:53, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
