Duplication of {{add}}

edit

This template duplicates {{add}}:

Worse, its wording is more specialized, so its range of applicable use is restricted. In any case, it's been pointed out that most skins have tabs that provide this function, without the chatty comment. — Xiong talk 03:42, 2005 Apr 10 (UTC)

This template was on TfD, blahblahblah you know the drill ;) See Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/Not deleted for more info. Evidently, the template was kept. -Frazzydee| 14:40, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

nowiki not working

edit

When I use this template on my talk page, the tildes are not litteral so instead of "-- ~~~~" I get "--Tiger Marc 06:07, 12 December 2005 (UTC)"Reply

Could someone fix this? I don't know how to.

--Tiger Marc 06:07, 12 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

That's due to known glitch in the template parsing; I fixed it. // Pathoschild 06:12, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

{{editprotected}} Please change {{SERVER}}{{localurl:{{NAMESPACE}}:{{PAGENAME}}|action=edit&section=new}} to {{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|action=edit&section=new}}.

Also move the usage to a seperate /doc page. —MC10|Sign here! 00:44, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

This template has 2 missing end tags for italics (''). The appearance will be preserved, and the missing end tags corrected, by inserting '' just before <br /> and removing '' from the end of the "Start a new talk topic" line. Anomalocaris (talk) 07:51, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
