Importance parameter

edit

Is there a way to modify the template to display the importance level underneath the class (similar to {{WPCities}} or {{WikiProject Miami}})? Over 70% of the Florida articles do not have an importance level assigned to them, and it's likely that it is because the parameter doesn't display on the template. Bug in template code?

edit

There might be a bug in the nested version of this template? There seems to be an extra linefeed at the end; for example, please see the WikiProjectBannerShell at Talk:Everglades. Thanks for looking into it! Willow (talk) 18:50, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request for implementation of coding in sandbox

edit

Please implement the code in the sandbox. This project is going to be supported by WikiProject United States and the logic in the sandbox will help the bot identify the articles and will help notify users of the change. --Kumioko (talk) 17:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I will again object to your attempt to redirect this project to WP:US; trying to deprecate the WPFLA template most assuredly counts as such. Horologium (talk) 18:07, 18 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Could someone please adjust the banner so that Category:Automatically assessed Florida articles is not required, which will remove the error from the template page? Thanks! Kumioko (talk) 19:05, 31 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Requesting removal of the B-class check, which utilizes the B-Class-1, B-Class-2, B-Class-3, B-Class-4, and B-Class-5 parameters (the code renames these as b1, b2, b3, b4, and b5). I only see this check on more active WikiProjects and the category for Potential B-Class Florida articles has been deleted since 2011. WP Florida has been a semi-active project in the past 4 years I have been assessing articles. – The Grid (talk) 16:47, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

The banner says to insert code for the B-class check list but the code does not display, now. Please either reinstate the B-class checklist and code for

|B-Class-1 =
|B-Class-2 =
|B-Class-3 =
|B-Class-4 =
|B-Class-5 =

Or remove the instructions from the documentation and the banner, as well as all banners that use these features. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 07:31, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

The B-Class check has been removed recently. I will have to check which pages this affects. – The Grid (talk) 21:05, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
It looks like when I did the original request, I forgot to at least mention removing:
|HOOK_ASSESS = {{WPBannerMeta/hooks/bchecklist
|BANNER_NAME=Template:WikiProject Florida}}
I think that's the problem. – The Grid (talk) 21:13, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Pinging @Primefac just for the above issue with some of the B-class parameters still in the template. – The Grid (talk) 17:07, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

edit

Removing the B-class checklist from the Templates: From this template, remove the following:

 |HOOK_ASSESS = {{WPBannerMeta/hooks/bchecklist
  |BANNER_NAME=Template:WikiProject Florida
  |category=
  |class=
  |ASSESSMENT_LINK = Wikipedia:WikiProject Florida/Assessment

From Template:WikiProject Florida/class, remove the line:

  |b1=|b2=|b3=|b4=|b5=

The above should summarize what is needed in a clear manner. – The Grid (talk) 20:55, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

No, it's not clear. You are asking for more opening braces to be removed than closing braces, this will break the template. Therefore,   Not done: please make your requested changes to the template's sandbox first; see WP:TESTCASES.. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 12:03, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the prompt response, @Redrose64. I just tested my request on the sandbox page. I was missing a closing brace with the above  .
The edit for the class mask would be to remove the |b1={{{b1|}}}|b2={{{b2|}}}|b3={{{b3|}}}|b4={{{b4|}}}|b5={{{b5|}}} line of code. – The Grid (talk) 15:04, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I (edit conflict)'d with the above, but that's convenient because I was going to also ask for sandboxing. Since this has been done (and clarifying the bracket issue) I have implemented the requested changes. Primefac (talk) 15:06, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
