REVISIONUSER

edit

Will the name and linked talk page change if someone else edits the page afterwards? --Apoc2400 (talk) 20:52, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{REVISIONUSER}} in this template won't work as you expect. The magic word always evaluates to the user who stored the revision you're actually looking at. E.g., while it will display my name once I post it here, as soon as anybody else replies here it will display their name: "{{REVISIONUSER}}" → "Zinnober9"
If you want to get the name of the person posting it to appear on the page permanently, you need to write it into the source of the page, and there are only three way to do that: Typing it manually, using three tildes, or substing a template (and through it either REVISIONUSER or tildes) onto the page.

Yeah. Maybe I can do something about that.

Template name

edit
  Resolved

I really think this template should primarily exist at {{Whisperback}}. "Wb" on its own means nothing; it is a shortened form of "Whisperback" which is the real word, so I think {{Wb}} should be a redirect. Also, by moving it back we would parallel the conventions of the {{Talkback}} template we're so eager to replace. Best to make things feel as similar as possible to ease the change, no?

Okay. The doc page will need to go with it. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō Contribs. 10:31, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Moved it, per your requests. Amalthea 10:40, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Talk page header

edit

I just made a talk page header for this by copying from the one that exists for {{Talkback}} (which is {{Usertalkback}}) – and it is (drum roll please) ... {{Userwhisperback}}!
Just FYI. I know I'll use it.

Template causes following header to be indented

edit

See here. The indentation went away when I added a carriage return. It doesn't seem to have to do with the size of the image in the template (I already tried that and it didn't fix it. rʨanaɢ (talk) 14:39, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Done It was the presence of the image, so the next heading was aligning with that; I have added a {{clear}} which sorts it by forcing the next item to start a fresh line. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:57, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I do not understand how we can show signifigance. If you do not allow time for the web page to develop. This was a premature deletion and you destroyed a helpful webpage — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.17.176.43 (talk) 17:11, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Simplified version

edit

I prepared a simplified version of this template, which uses less parser functions. See testcases for details. The only thing that testcases don't show is the difference in substitution:

The only noticeable side effect is that my version always greets (it uses page name if no |greet= parameter was specified). — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talktrack) 18:20, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tony Ward

INFORMATION FOR WIKIPEDIA I confirm that Tony Ward was a top class football referee, who officiated at the highest levels in England. He refereed at the highest League level, The FA Premier League in addition to many matches for The Football Association, including several at Wembley Stadium. He also officiated in International and UEFA Cup matches in Europe.

He was a very well respected referee and I have no hesitation in supporting and veyfifying his credibility.

Della Terza Page

Hello. I understand that it is in Italian, but I would like you to consider this website from the University of Naples that says precisely what I said in the article: http://www.filmod.unina.it/antenati/DellaTerza.htmMalaguti64 (talk) 22:44, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Substing creates gobbledygook

edit

I tried substing this template and got this. I've self-reverted, but can this template be modified to subst to something I can deal with? Oiyarbepsy (talk) 06:18, 27 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
