Hello, I need to edit some templates to get the codes and translate them for the arabic wikipedia.

Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and someone will add them for you, or if you have an account, you can wait until you are autoconfirmed and edit the page yourself. jd22292 (Jalen D. Can you link Afghanistan

  • Before: a project to maintain and expand Afghanistan-related subjects on Wikipedia.
  • After: a project to maintain and expand Afghanistan-related subjects on Wikipedia.
To make it consistent with other WikiProject templates. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk (We are the champions, my friends) 17:58, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Can you replace "|QUALITY_SCALE=inline " to "|QUALITY_SCALE=subpage ". Because there is class subpage. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk (We are the champions, my friends) 18:09, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

CAPTAIN MEDUSA, the template currently has |QUALITY_SCALE = extended - is that what you want changed? Primefac (talk) 17:38, 22 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Primefac, Yes. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk (We are the champions, my friends) 20:06, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Redrose64, I noticed you declined a similar request the other day, any objections here? Primefac (talk) 20:33, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Primefac: I have only just noticed this. Anyway, I have declined such changes more than once in the past, there are two main reasons: (1) it's been asked for by a single person with no indication that the WikiProject itself desires the change; (2) the change does not affect the set of valid class values. In this case, (2) does not apply because Template:WikiProject Afghanistan/class adds five classes (future, current, needed, book, redirect) that are not part of either the standard or extended set. However, (1) does apply because I see no related discussion at WT:WikiProject Afghanistan and nobody on this page is asking for the change to be made, other than CAPTAIN MEDUSA (talk · contribs). --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:40, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please change the emblem to File:Arms_of_the_Islamic_Emirate_of_Afghanistan.svg, as that is the emblem now used at Afghanistan. The portal's flag was already changed, so there is now an inconsistency in the symbols used by this template. ― Tartan357 Talk 02:09, 12 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

The image used in this template was deleted from Commons. I suggest File:Map of Afghanistan with flag.svg as an alternative. ― Tartan357 Talk 22:24, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Paine Ellsworth: Sorry to trouble you again, but could you please change it to File:Afghanistan-Flagmap.svg? I just realized that since the text is the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith, covering part of the text could be seen as offensive. I'm not quite sure if this is the case, but I remember something about a sporting goods company getting in trouble for the way they put the Saudi flag on a soccer ball, because it has the Shahada on it. ― Tartan357 Talk 05:41, 23 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
