Separate doc page

{{Editprotected}} Needs its documentation forked out into a /doc page as per normal these days with {{Documentation}} and related templates. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 03:11, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Remove extra line

edit

{{editprotected}}

There's an extra line at the bottom of the template that adds a line break to the template everywhere it's transcluded. Remove by finding:

-->}}</includeonly>
<noinclude>{{Documentation}}</noinclude>

And replacing with:

-->}}</includeonly><noinclude>{{Documentation}}</noinclude>

And you're done! Gary King (talk) 16:58, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your last edit needs <noinclude> tags around it. Gary King (talk) 20:48, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Right you are. It Is Me Here t / c 20:58, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{editprotected}}

Remove the extra line.
<noinclude>{{Pp-template|small=yes}}</noinclude>
{|
Becomes
<noinclude>{{Pp-template|small=yes}}</noinclude>{|

The best thing to do would be to move the template to the bottom noinclude, together with the documentation, though. Gary King (talk) 21:04, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

New version of template

edit

I've got an updated template at Template:WikiProject Italy/sandbox which uses WPBannerMeta. Any objections to using it? -- WOSlinker (talk) 18:59, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

{{editprotected}} Could the sandbox version be copied over to the main template. Thanks. -- WOSlinker (talk) 20:41, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Italy Portal template

edit

It's possible to insert upright in the template the {{portal|Italy}}? IMHO is useful. --Theirrulez (talk) 20:50, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Support. Other Wikiprojects do this, why not this one?Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:13, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Italy portal on WikiProject Italy banner

edit

The addition of the Italy Portal to the project banner, as currently shown in the template sandbox, was requested about a year ago, and is to date unopposed. I recently made the same suggestion on the project talk page where is has attracted no comment. This can hardly be called consensus. However, the edit appears to be sensible, specific and uncontroversial. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:40, 2 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Add parameter for WPITLAY/Bernini task force

edit

WP:WikiProject Bernini has been merged as a taskforce to WPITALY as WP:WikiProject Italy/Bernini, so a flag for WPITALY banner for Bernini should be done to enable replacement of {{WikiProject Bernini}} with {{WikiProject Italy|Bernini=yes}}

|tf 1={{{bernini|{{{Bernini|{{{Gian Lorenzo Bernini|{{{Gianlorenzo Bernini|{{{Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini|}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
 |TF_1_LINK           = Wikipedia:WikiProject Italy/Bernini
 |TF_1_NAME = the Bernini task force
 |TF_1_NESTED         = Bernini
 |TF_1_TEXT           =
 |TF_1_IMAGE          = GL Bernini.jpg
 |TF_1_MAIN_CAT       = WikiProject Bernini articles
 |TF_1_QUALITY        = Bernini articles

should be added to the bottom of the WPBANNERMETA template definition

  Done. I've tweaked the parameters a bit so that the categories work properly too. I'll go and create the missing categories for you now as well. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 08:37, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can you replace the current live version with the sandbox version. The change will add more parameters to the WikiProject. See the discussion with the wikiproject at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Italy. Thanks. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 19:08, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

  Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit template-protected}} template. I see an announcement at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Italy, but no evidence of discussion, let alone consensus. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 14:35, 12 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
