editprotected At Template:WikiProject Poland/sandbox the code has been updated to support the meta-template (this one is fairly simple as it is only quality and importance). One category will end up being renamed as well, which is fairly simple to do once updated. I also update it to put the documentation on a subpage (already made) which is commonly done now on protected templates especially. —Borgardetalk 09:18, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

  Done. Please create the Unassessed category ASAP, as well as any of the mentioned optional categories that the Poland project wishes to utilise. Huntster (t@c) 09:57, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Done. Thanks.—Borgardetalk 10:01, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

editprotected One slight error, please change: |PROJECT = WikiProject Poland to |PROJECT = Poland This will fix the error in the displayed when the banners are shelled. Everything else is fine. —Borgardetalk 10:25, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

  Done. Cheers! Huntster (t@c) 10:34, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

|MAIN_TEXT = SUBJECTPAGENAME is within the scope of WikiProject Poland, an attempt to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Poland on Wikipedia. To participate simply edit the article or see our current projects and discussions. On the main project page we have some tools to help you out. Don't hesitate to ask questions!

 • Please change PAGENAME to SUBJECTPAGENAME (or equivalent correct code) in the Main Text section, as on the Project, Template (see above) or Cat. pages, etc., the banner shows red-links for "the article" phrase. Thanks. --Funandtrvl (talk) 21:10, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I hope my edit is what you requested? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:15, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
You know, it worked on every non-article page, except the the image pages. See File talk:Podharcmistrz1.png for an example. I don't know how to fix that, please help!! --Funandtrvl (talk) 21:22, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Try BASEPAGENAME? MartinMsgj 00:00, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Trying :) Better? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 00:21, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, that edit doesn't work, it's even worse. Wouldn't it be simpler just to use the Main Text that is already built into the template? Just leave "Main Text" empty, that would solve the red link problems, as the code to correctly display the main text as it is now is obviously very complicated and is conflicting. Thanks. --Funandtrvl (talk) 01:19, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Do you mean this? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 05:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that's much better, thanks! --Funandtrvl (talk) 20:53, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

To allow Future and Book classes. SeveroTC 11:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  Not done:. The custom class mask does not currently support the B-class checklist which this banner uses. This will need to be fixed to avoid reclassifying hundreds of articles. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 17:31, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think I've fixed that. If there's still problems with it, let me know and I'll fix it. SeveroTC 18:01, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
I am curious what is the edit about? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:10, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
To allow future and book class assessments, for things where "unassessed" and NA just don't work that well. SeveroTC 18:27, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
It might be better to propose this on the project talk page first. Future-class is a rarely used class and other project members might have a view of this. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:37, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Agree with Martin, it'd probably be best to discuss this change on WT:POLAND.   Not done for now. decltype (talk) 07:14, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
I guess we can spam that on the project's talk page. Personally I don't care one way or another, and I doubt anybody else will, but it will make the project look more active. Severo, I do appreciate you caring - as with much else, usually a lot of things like this are carried by one person :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 07:30, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

The B class checklist is missing the sixth criterion. Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland/Assessment#Quality scale has implemented the accessibility criterion. Therefor the comment out brackets need to be removed from b6. Specifically:

line 15 of the template under QUALITY_SCALE
Currently reads:
|b1={}|b2={}|b3={}|b4={}|b5={}<!--|b6={}-->
Should read:
|b1={}|b2={}|b3={}|b4={}|b5={}|b6={}
line 21 of the template under HOOK_ASSESS
Currently reads:
|b1={}|b2={}|b3={}|b4={}|b5={}<!--|b6={}-->
Should read:
|b1={}|b2={}|b3={}|b4={}|b5={}|b6={}

Thanks.   --Bejnar (talk) 03:39, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not do that. Nobody but me assess those articles, and I am not even sure what this criterion means. I certainly don't feel like ever reassessing the hundreds of articles I've done for this parameter. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:12, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Piotrus: I assess these articles as well, so do others, see for example Talk:Bataliony Chłopskie. I don't know the history behind the statements at Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland/Assessment#Quality scale; however, if you don't like them, the place to take that up is at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Poland/Assessment so that it can be changed there. --Bejnar (talk) 06:22, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I wrote that page, mostly by copying guidelines from similar pages - see it's history. My comment about nobody else doing the assessment comes from the fact that nobody else is posting at Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland/Reviews. If you do them, and find this criteria useful, and plan on using it, that's fine, I withdraw my objection. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:28, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
  Not done: due to lack of consensus. Bejnar: I suggest you bring this up at the project talk page. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:58, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Poland articles needing infoboxes

edit

Hi there! Although this template doesn't support |needs-infobox=, Category:Poland articles needing infoboxes exists. Should the parameter be added, or should the category be deleted? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 16:29, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
